You know? It really sucks being a non-American in this world. I'm not saying it in a derogatory way, No! For god's sake I'm a non-American. But the fact and the matter is that America and her actions along with her people, have a direct impact on most of the world's citizens' lives. History shows it and current global economic slowdown is another sign. You see, Americans' actions and decisions can have great impacts far beyond their legal borders; but it's very hard for a non-American to have any kind of impact on Americans' decision.
Many times in this cyber-world, I have seen people turn around and tell the non-Americans to shove it when they were expressing their opinions about America and it's politics; telling them America is none of their business, failing to notice that this world has evolved into a global scene and in fact it is non-Americans' business to have a word on what goes on in America which will have an impact on them beyond their control. The least Americans can do, is to take their word into account, and be sure they will never be able to vote, but at least stop and give those words a thought for a moment, it will certainly not hurt anyone to do so.
I get to the point. I live in America as a non-citizen, So I can't vote. I however have been living here for a good number of years and consider myself a part of this society. I am as concerned as most Americans about this election, if not more. The law of the land says I can't have any direct impact on the outcome of this election (vote), thus I'll do everything else in my power to indirectly have some sort of impact; blogging is one of the best ways. Now, u can tell why I have this picture up here. I ain't gonna shut up and sit around while others impact my world.
I'm a little inexperienced in blogging, started a few and never dedicated much time to either one, forgetting each one after a while; therefore please bear with me if there are any shortcomings on this blog. I'm more than willing to take in your kind feedbacks regarding the blog and I would like to reassure everyone publicly that the comments on my blog are not censored. Everyone can speak their mind, nonsense or logical points are both welcome, only spammers are not!
So, here I am to speak my mind as it is my inalienable right in the land of the free (yes! Go educate yourself if you feel too greedy with the U.S. Constitution as a citizen-only text. It's the supreme law of the land, involving citizens, governments and immigrants in America, even the illegal ones!)
I'm highly political, but I hold no specific sides and do not permanently associate with any party, I go by my mind, I side with what I think is right, you could call it independence, but that doesn't mean I won't support a republican or a democrat just to show my independence. I support what I conclude (after much thinking and researching) to be right.
I have been interested in politics and news and have followed them since I was like 10, more than a decade ago! So, I know a great deal about what I say and plus I have done quite a bit of studying in history as well, I know a tad bit about philosophy and I dare to compare my brain to that of Socrates, not that I totally compare myself to him, but the way my brain works!
I LIKE TO BE AS EXPLANATORY AS I CAN, SO MY READER UNDERSTANDS ME IN A BETTER MANNER, READING IS THE JOB THE READER AND I CAN CARE LESS IF I'M MAKING THEIR JOB HARDER AS LONG AS IT SERVES THE PURPOSE OF CLARIFICATION OF MY POSITION.
This is NO LIBERAL BLOG. and I ain't no Liberal as I mentioned earlier. Posts here are made according to my self-analysis and the news out there.
Enough for the intro, from this point on, the topic will be today's politics and anything related to it!
